About Me
I am a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) and a member in good standing of the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA). Additionally, I was formerly a lawyer at a large national law firm and leading national bank, and spent almost a decade supporting students at Osgoode Hall Law School.
While I enjoyed the intellectual challenge of law and guiding people through varied life challenges, I observed a significant need for mental health support within the academic, legal and other professional communities. This, combined with my longstanding interest in psychology and desire to help people in a more direct and profound way led me to pursue a career in psychotherapy.
I completed my academic and clinical training in psychoanalytic psychotherapy at the Toronto Institute for Contemporary Psychoanalysis and TICP Community Clinic. I continue to participate in ongoing supervision and professional development activities to expand my knowledge, offerings and approach in order to best support my clients.
Of equal importance to my training and experience are my core values of connection, authenticity, kindness and respect. I am humbled by the trust my clients place in me and deeply committed to understanding and supporting each one on their unique therapeutic journey.
